Minutes
of the Meeting of November 16, 2011
The meeting was called to order at 6 PM
by Vice President Redrup. President Chapman was at an IBEW organizing meeting
in Wenatchee. Randy Kurtz, AFSCME 948 was appointed to the Vice PresidentÕs
chair for the meeting. The meeting protocol was read, and the minutes of the
previous meeting was approved as posted.

Rep. Mark Miloscia,
Candidate for State Auditor, spoke about his background in support of labor issues and
working with employees to bring great efficiencies and accountability to state
government. He said that we needed to listen carefully to employees to help fix
state government.
King County Councilman, Bob Ferguson, Candidate for State Attorney General, noted that he was the
only Democrat in the race at this time. He gave his background in working with
Labor at the County level and responded to questions.

gave an update on upcoming programs and times for the programs at KSER 90.7 FM

Continuation of business meeting
EXECUTIVE BOARD
Sec. Treas. Sells reported that the
Board would be meeting on Friday and Tuesday to go over the 2012 budget and to
audit the books. Vice President Redrup reported on the United Way Labor
Advisory Board and the Toys for Tots that the Labor Council will be helping
with. On the Letter Carriers Food Drive, the goal will be to raise $15,000 for
the food pick-up bags.

Christofferson, LIUNA 292, reported that on December 3rd, the local
would be having a Santa event.
