delegate list.

Solidarity Night at the Silvertips and we had sold 1650 tickets so far. He
encouraged everyone to go back to their Unions and encouraged members to wear
Union attire to the game. He also reported on classes that the WSLC puts on to
help union members that are interested in running for office adding that it is
very important that we have pro-labor people in all forms of elected office and
that information was available in the back of the room or on website.
Secretary Treasurer also reported
that the next education committee meeting will be held on February 28th
at 5:00 PM right before our delegated meeting. The education committee has been
instrumental in putting together our booths at the fairs and our training
classes and that the committee is looking for new members so please show up if
youÕre interested.
Leonard added that he had
several request over the last few years to have a
Labor Day parade. He then shared an article for the Everett Herald that
referenced Labor Day activities from the past and how itÕs not celebrated like
it used to be. He announced a committee was being formed to put together a
Labor Day parade In Everett and if it was going to be successful on any level,
we need participation from a lot of the affiliates. A signup sheet was
